Welcome to dunwalkin

Walkers, dog lovers, explorers, historians - something for everyone!

Proceeds will go to Guide Dogs for the Blind.

The book tells the true story of a couple who, with their dog Havoc, walked the entire coastline of Britain continuously. A 5000 mile odyssey, raising £50,000 for charity at the time, 2006/7. With over 400 pages, beautiful illustrations, many black and white photos, it not only details why they did it, where they went and stayed, who they met, problems encountered and humorous events, it also forms a memoir of the author, Paul Barber (Bubbles.)

The book can be ordered here, prices at £15, free local delivery, £5 p&p if postage required - total £20. Guide Dogs, one of the charities who benefitted in 2007, will receive proceeds from this sale.

A fact packed humorous travel tale and memoir, beautifully illustrated. It will have you cracked up laughing at the eccentric oddness of mind, soul, reasoning and spirit.

I am researching each location and am finding it intriguing. What a rip-roaring journey, absolutely

fantastic.

Wow!! I was hooked from the outset. The detailed and poetic observations of surroundings and creatures alongside the adversities faced with the elements and blisters, mixed with the extreme generosity of the locals. I question this would happen to all; it must have something to do with the charisma of the adventurers.

I have viewed travelogues on TV knowing full well there is a massive production team behind the celeb/traveller. These three did it on their own. Some menage a trois! A genuine adventure, did they land on your doorstep?
